So I saw a decorated three tiered tray on Instagram once. I thought it was cute and moved on. Then around Christmas time I kept seeing them so I headed to hobby lobby that night and the rest is history. So far I have decorated for December (Christmas themed), January (snow/winter themed), and February (Valentine's).
I got the tray at hobby lobby for about twenty dollars. I see them there all the time and I don't know if I lucked out with some great deal, but normally they are at least forty. At the time, this was one of two trays there so I went with this one. I didn't love it, but it actually works with my decor.
So far I have kept the garland in the tray, but I might take it out for the warmer months. I also always have a mug (or mugs). I think they look cute in the tray and gives it some height. Another thing I have in my tray are magnets (they are the brown ones in the top and middle tray). I get these from Hobby Lobby and they are a perfect add in.
I bought these at Hobby Lobby. They always have different garland strands. I got these on the Christmas clearance knowing I would use it for the Valentine's tray. Red is perfect and then I thought the little pearls would be cute. I'll probably reuse the pearls in June and maybe do a mermaid theme.
These little bottles are so adorable. I got them for a dollar at Target in their dollar spot. They are meant to be open, but I thought they were cute just placed inside.
I try not to go to overboard because I don't want to spend a fortune on this project once a month so this is the last thing I added. They were a dollar in the dollar spot at Target. I just took the 'x's and 'o's out and stuck them in the tray. I used the extra letters for my bar cart display.
That's it! Super simple took a few minutes. I left the white ornaments in the tray that I used in January just to keep items propped up. Happy decorating!
